Nostalgic Books
Hello!
Ever since I was little, I’ve either read books or been read to. Most every evening for the first ten or eleven years of my life, my dad would read books to my brothers and I. So today, we’re going to take a trip down memory lane and look at some nostalgic books.
Little House On the Prairie
These books were a great history lesson and what sparked my love for historical fiction and eventually historical costuming. I spent a lot of time playing with my brothers, and we always pretended we were living in a homestead.
American Girl
Yet another historical fiction book. I loved all of the American Girl books, but my all time favorite was Felicity.
Beezus and Romona
My little brother is reading these right now and it’s so cool to see him react to the different events in the book.
The Cat in the Hat
Reading these books with my parents was always entertaining, especially when they tried to read Fox in Socks.
Dragons Dragons
I also read a lot of Eric Carl books when I was younger, but my favorite was definitely Dragons Dragons.
The Berenstain Bears
How could we forget the Berenstain Bears? These two entertaining and sometimes mischievous bear cubs will always be fun to read.
That’s all for now, until next time!

Hi! I’m Hannah, a crazy pen-wielding, jack-of-all-trades writer. I write contemporary stories with a magical (or vintage!) twist, usually featuring big families, delicious food, and a few tear jerking scenes. When I’m not writing, you could find me camping, sewing, hiking, cycling, skiing, playing violin or piano, reading, and many other “-ing” words.
This was such a cute post! 😀
Thank you!
YESSS Little House on the Prairie is the best, I love re-reading them ❤️
Hehe! 😃 They are awesome!
